Proviscon LLC provides senior-level process engineering and project support to pharmaceutical and specialty chemical companies, facility owners, and A/E firms. With more than 30 years of experience in engineering design and capital projects, Michael Wacks, P.E. brings the technical expertise and practical perspective needed to move projects from concept through construction.
Michael specializes in process design for pharmaceutical, GMP, sterile manufacturing, R&D, and specialty chemical facilities. Services include development and review of User Requirements Specifications, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications and layouts, coordination of multidisciplinary design teams, and construction support.
Proviscon is particularly well suited to projects where an owner needs experienced engineering expertise without building a large project team, or where an A/E firm needs a knowledgeable process engineering sub-consultant. The focus is on providing the right level of technical involvement to solve problems, develop sound designs, and keep projects moving.
Michael is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey and Massachusetts and holds degrees in Chemical Engineering from The Cooper Union and Environmental Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
